How do I refinish a whiteboard?

I used bleach to clean my whiteboard, and it took the finish off. Now the dry erase markers don’t wipe off, i have to scrub them. What could I use to resurface it?

Clear Coat would be a good option.

Start by sanding the board to get a rough surface, then paint it with the clear coating. Gelgloss works well. Rustoleom also makes white board paint.

You could also use a self-adhesive board skins to place over it. It’s extremely sticky on the back, so make sure to get it placed before you stick it on.

clear coat i guess?…but you should lightly sand then clean the rest of the board first.

no guarantee if this will work, its just a guess. Chances are you will be buying yourself a new white board…

Only use a damp cloth on these boards, even white board cleaner products tend to take the finish off, it’s happened at the local college I go to.
